The house of Lubin launches a new version of the masculine scent Idole from 2005 (which, on the other hand, is a modern interpretation of the fragrance from 1962). Perfumer Olivia Giacobetti, the designer of the original version, also signs the new Idole Eau de Parfum version. The inspirations for Idole line are adventures and travels, discovering of new and exotic countries, fearlessness and desire for excitement. Idole Eau de Parfum is dedicated to extraordinary women like Alexandra David-Neel, Mary Kingsley, Amelia Earhart, Charmian Kitteredge and Karen Blixen, the adventuress who had traveled the world and explored new areas, their bravery and courage. Notes of amber, labdanum and incense are added to the original fragrance formula. The opening consists of rum, saffron, black cumin and bitter orange. The heart follows with accords of Doum palm, smoked ebony, olibanum, incense and sugar cane. The base features leather, red amber, labdanum and sandalwood. The new bottle is designed by Serge Mansau and Lubin Studio.
